Shattering Stigma About This mural was designed by Zepf’s Stacy Spinazze. The mirrored bars represent that 1 in 25 people experience a mental health occurrence each year. The gold circles indicate that 1 in 5 will be experience a mental illness each year. The blue background is symbolic of those with mental illness piecing their lives together, working from the darkness to the light. The multi-colored section shows the variety of mental health diagnoses. The mirror also symbolizes that each one of us needs to reflect on how we approach mental illness, whether within ourself or our family members and/or friends .
